The news broke on the morning of Tuesday 21st October that fashion designer, Oscar de la Renta passed away. The 82 year old began his career in the 1950's in Spain. His rise to fame began when he dressed one of the major fashion icons of the 1960's, Jacqueline Kennedy. One of his last creations was for Amal Alamuddin who wore it when marrying George Clooney. Let us remember his inspiring quotes and amazing fashion designs in the pictures below because this along with many other attributes is what he will be remembered for.
