I'm one of those people that if I was in the situation that I had to choose between food or music, without a second thought I would choose music. Music is that one thing that I couldn't live without. There is no day that I don't listen to music or make a list of concerts I have to go to. Recently, I've noticed I am now attending over 7 concerts this year (so far) with a few festivals on my wish-list. So, I wanted to share more about my music taste because I listen to everything from country to house to metal. So, every week (well, I'll try) to share 5 songs that I found recently (old and new) through Spotify.


1. If you Katy Perry or Kesha, you'll love " Some Kinda Wonderful" by Betty Who.

Such an upbeat and happy pop tune. Even know my ex introduced me to Betty Who, I have to thank them because Betty Whos songs are simply incredible- I could listen to her voice all day. If you want to listen to more of Betty Who, check out High Society and I love you always forever

2. If you like Zara Larsson or Ellie Goulding, you'll love "Lies in the Dark" by Tove Lo

Tove Lo is the next artist I'm anxiously waiting for to announce a tour date.  This songs also feature in the sequel, 50 Shades Darker and is a very romantic/intense song. Her songs are incredibly addictive.

3. If you like Tyler the Creator or ASAP Ferg, you'll love "BagBak" by Vince Staples

I discovered Vince Staples last year when he was announced as a supporting act for Disclosure when they placed last June and I've been addicted to his songs since. This is definitely a song to give a listen to even though it's not like his other song styles.

4. If you like Bastille or The 1975 , you'll love "Believer" by Imagine Dragons

I fell in love with Imagine Dragons back when they released their 2012 album,  Night Visions. I
haven't really given a proper listen to their last album, Smoke & Mirrors. But, if it's anything like this song, it will be addictive.

5. If you like, Little Big Town or Lady Antebellum, you'll love "The Waiting Game" by Una Healy

Some of you may or may not know, Una Healy has now gone solo and her debut album "The Waiting Game" was released on just over a week ago. I think we all expected Una to keep in the pop genre. But, she has gone down the country route and it suits her voice so well. So far, I've listened to 3 of her songs off the album and I can already tell I'm going to like the rest of the album.
