I saw this picture of a quote amongst others from a website called "We heart it" . This quote just stood out to me. At first I had to look at it and think about it's hidden meaning. But wow, I was blown away by the combination of words. So simple yet so real. It made me think, that always and I mean always be you. People should only love you for the real you. Never pretend to be anyone you are not in order to fit in or just to feel liked/loved.
I have made this mistake. I tried to change for many people , change my personality , my style. But was it worth it ? No. Those people I changed for are no longer a part of my life. I didn't want to pretend to be anyone that I'm not. I'm not normal. I'm weird. And always will be and I want people to love me for me.
But back to the quote... When you fall in love, make sure they love you for you. Don't fall for the tricky games in love. You need to believe in yourself that the other person loved you back. They should love not just what's on the outside , but the inside. Your soul and heart. If they can't love you for them, are they worth it ? Never give someone your body if they don't deserve your soul. Yes us girls and boys also just go through phases where they don't care who they are with in order I get that "one thing", don't fall into the trap. It's not worth it. Always believe there is someone out there for you that will love you for you.
