Summer

When summer starts to arrive, we see out social networks flooded with pictures of beaches and cocktails,hoping that you have a fun-filled summer. It's 3 months of freedom , from school and college. You get to have lie-ins, laze around and do what you want . You make plans with your friends and even go on holidays. Everyone goes a bit crazy because its the happiest season.

This year , for me, not what I expected. I had a brilliant first year in college and I wanted to continue the happiness by having a wild summer. But wow, that did not happen. 98 percent of the time I was working . The other two percent, I was eating . The summer literally flew by so fast and can't even remember what I did this time last week. I got to meet up with some pals but some I haven't seen since the college year ended. One exciting thing I did was go on a sun holiday with my family. It was good to get away from all the pressure and stress from work. Things simple as going to the movies or heading to the park with my friends, it just didn't happen. I was earning money for nothing. I just spent it all on clothes , Which for us girls , keeps us happy.

I wish I got to let my hair down and just be a young and crazy twenty year old. There is 4 weeks left and I have to come up with a bucket list of things that would just end my summer perfectly.
