Freedom

Freedom

Freedom, what a feeling. I currently feel so free. I'm not at work everyday working my ass off like I was all summer. I'm living in Dublin, feeling like a proper grown up. And I'm enjoying my alone time before I go back to college.

I know I can't complain about working all summer because I know a lot of hard working people out there. But after having a hard year of college (yet enjoyable) , I just wanted to have a crazy summer. Indeed it was crazy, but a different crazy. Working the whole god damn time and I'm actually broke. Oh well ! And know that I'm getting back to college, I'm calming down on working and I'm enjoying my "me" time. It's actually nice to lie in bed and not feel guilty. I can finally sleep for as long as I want and not worry about my alarm going off. I can sit down and have a cup of tea without worrying about what hours I was working the next day etc etc.

At the start of the summer, it looked like I was going to be down at home for the summer. I would of seriously cracked up. I was at home for two weeks and oh my god I couldn't handle it. I love my family and all but for the past 4 years I'm so used to not living at home and that I was with them 24/7, I was seriously losing it. But fortunately I got hours in work and I've been working my ass off for three months. And now before I head back to college, in enjoying some time to watch movies , hang with friends and do whatever I want. And I like it. I miss being lazy. I get to decide what I do because my mother isn down my throat giving me jobs around the house.

Second year of college is slowly coming around the corner. The excitement is really starting to kick in. I am in love with my course and my college so it's simply going to be an amazing year, sharing my memories with my crazy friends. Back to dancing my ass off as the chairperson of DIT dance soc ( how I got this role is beyond me). I'm ready to take any challenge that comes along my way. I'm waiting for the exciting times to roll on in.

See you later,

JB
