Day One - “Write some
basic things about yourself”
Hmm. Okay. Well where
do I begin. Some of you know me very well and others don't so its
hard to think of things that you might like to know. I'll try and
keep it as interesting as possible.
Well to state the
obvious, my name is Jessica. Yes with a “C” to be correct but I
usually spell it with a “K” just to be different. Nicknames would
include “Jess” “Jessie” but a lot of people refer to me
as”jessikaminaj” as its my Twitter and Instagram name. I’m
currently in second year in Dublin Institute of Technology studying
Event Management and its simply the best course ever. I cant wait to
get my degree and create magical events like weddings or festivals to
make people happy and to have a good time. I am twenty years of age
simply enjoying every day of life. I have my good and bad days in
which I express in this blog. Its up to you whether you read it or
not.
You can usually find me
with my iPhone in my right hand and a Starbucks hot chocolate in my
left. I’m a busy bee and I always like to be kept busy. Why be
bored when life is short? I’m just a tad addicted to social
networking and hence why some of you may not follow me on Instagram
or Twitter because I update them like 100 times a day. But that’s
me. I try to keep people up to date on what I am doing and hey I have
followers so I must be doing something right!
I love my family and
friends. I simply cant imagine what life would be like without them.
I'm very close to them and they are always there for me. Although I
haven’t been the easiest girl to deal with because I am simply such
a drama queen, they still manage to keep me in some what sane.
Music is a big part of
my life. Although I don’t play any instruments, its my way of
escaping from the world. Whenever I feel down or evening just
brushing my teeth, I just stick some music on and pretend I'm in a
music video. Yes, I have no shame in admitting that. Its what I do!
Fashion is a big
influence in my life. I am lucky to have such role models in my
family. My mother, aunt and my granny dress so well for their ages
and simply have flawless styles. Although I break rules, I like to
treat the world like a catwalk as everyday is fashion show. I have no
particular style as I change it everyday. I just wear whatever I feel
comfortable in. I try to keep up with trends,but why be like anyone
else when you can be you and different?
I started this blog
approximately in the middle of July 2013. It was a bit of a spur of
the moment thing. And now in the middle of October ,I’m still here.
I’ve been getting good feedback from it and my views are going up
everyday so there is some weirdos out there that actually like what I
put up here. So thank you.
