Imagine Dragons –On Top of the World

Right now, this is my official happy song. Every morning when I wake up, if im feeling down , I stick this song on and just try and think positive. I get a really positive vibe from listening to it. It just makes me think happy and it tells me to enjoy life. I know that sounds silly, but it does. Im sure all you you have that one song that makes you smile everytime you hear it or it makes you think of someone. Well right now , this is my song.

I heard about Imagine Dragons during the summer but only recently I am starting to be a big fan of them. When I downloaded the album, I just played it while I was cooking. And then the first time this came on, I just fell in love with it. I have been pretty much listening to it since then.

Do you ever just stand still and think about your life ? This song has that effect on me. It makes me realise, even if I am going through stuff, it will make me think about all the good aspects of life and you know that you should be happy.

The reason it is my song of the day today, is because I am simply happy. Everyone has there good and bad days but for the past week, every day I have woken up feeling happy. Obviously there is stuff going on that is killing me inside, but I am not letting that affect the rest of my life.

 ‘‘If you love somebody,better tell them why they’re here’’ is the first lyric of the song. Its probably the most effective. So many people just let then love of their lives just slip through their fingers. Trust me, I nearly made this mistake last week. But I'm holding onto the one person who has been there for the past while and I can't imagine life without them.

So, be happy and enjoy every day. Take risks and learn from your mistakes.
