So I haven't done a personal post, or in fact any post, in a while. For the past few months , it's been solely beauty posts and I'm going to give a bit more attention to the fashion and lifestyle segments here on CWL. This post is just simply catching up on all things me in the past fews months.
So, it's June! Actually, we are half way through it! Oh my dear God, we are nearly halfway through 2015. It's scary how time is flying by- I can't deal! We have just got to make the most of life! Although I am the laziest person you'll ever meet, I do have good intentions in my mind to challenge myself into being more active in life. As much as I love sitting in bed all day watching endless seasons of TV shows, I really do need to start leaving my house and meet some real humans!

So as you all know, I started my Internship in February, and again it's flying by! I am loving it so far as it's challenging me. The events sector is so big and there are so many different route I can go down, like an sector. When I started my course, I wanted to solely organise festivals because I'm a huge music fan and I love festival fashion. But, organising events isn't all glamorous. I am now working on corporate events which is so different but enjoyable. I can't believe that this time next year I will be finished my degree and I can't see myself having a decision made by then. But, that's ok! I'm still young, I'm only 22 and I can't be expected to make a big decision about what I want to be when I grow up by then. If you are in the same situation, give it time, there is no rush to settle down! Live life to the full, travel and explore your options! You can sleep when you're dead!
As my internship is keeping me going Monday through Friday, I was set on blogging every weekend. But, I've been coming home more often to spend time with my family. When I had a part-time job and in full time college, it was difficult to juggle everything. I gave up my job a few months ago, to succeed and give it my all in my internship which I have been trying to do! At the same time, I miss having my income and being able to shop a bit more. Hence, why I don't post much hauls or anything like that anymore. However, I will try whenever I do!

For the fashion side of my blog, I have plans to continue to do my "Friday Five" post where I post my favourite 5 items from an online site every Friday. I also have ideas to include payday wishlists, fashion blogger of the month and outfit posts. As people know, I love talking and sharing posts about my favourite bloggers. Some don't, that's fine but I believe we should all empower each other and not compete against each other. When I do get the time, I will try to post outfit posts as this has been something you've all been asking for! These will be based on different themes like Office wear, Festival and more! If you have suggestions, tweet/Facebook me!
And you might have noticed, I have gave my blog a little makeover! I've tried and tested a few different colours but my favourite colour is yellow, so I thought I would give it a go. Do you like it? Or prefer purple? I'd love to hear your thoughts! And a huge thank you to Holly Shortall for my fabulous illustration!
