*Insert quirky greeting instead of "Hi Guys*
So I am throwbacking to a a few weeks ago, Thursday 23rd July to be exact. I was invited to attend an exclusive launch of a new Thomas Sabo Autumn/Winter bracelet collection called "Love Bridge". This collection is at Arnotts in Dublin and many other stockists of Thomas Sabo in Ireland.
Bloggers from all over Dublin came together for this very exciting event. It was so good to see some familiar faces and some new faces at the event. When bloggers get together, its amazing to see the support we all have for each other. So, this was another special event where we all got to catch up, have some nibbles and champagne and of course, take a million and one selfies.
The host for the evening was Fashion Stylist and Present, Lorna Weightman. She talked us through some of her favorite pieces from the collection that included bracelets, watches and necklaces, all ranging in different colours. The collection has plenty of choice for different styles for both men and women, so there is something for everyone. What makes this collection different from others is, when you purchase a bracelet, you can get a free engraving. This adds a personal touch and makes the bracelet more meaningful.
At this launch, there was a competition to win of these beautiful bracelets which you can get engraved. All you had to do was tweet using #MyLoveBridge followed by what you would get on the bracelet. Typical me, I tweeted a million times of silly things like " Selfie Girl" as you are put on the spot to think of something different and special. I was in the middle of chatting to my friends when I heard my name and everyone was looking at me. Little did I know, I won the bracelet. I was overmoon to win, but I didn't know which tweet won. I cringely tweeted "Forever Smiling" and that got peoples attention. I could have changed it, but then when I thought about it, I'm usually always smiling regardless of what is going on in my life. People know me for being slightly crazy and funny so I thought this saying suited me. I never heard of it being an actual quote, but since then, I have started using it as my little catchphrase.
I am a huge lover of pearls and I was lucky to be given a Silver and Pearl Thomas Sabo Love Bridge Bracelet. I was lucky to also watch be a part of the Engraving process which you can see below. It means a lot to me that I have this bracelet, so that I can look down at it and realise I can be happy and I want to be happy.
Thank you very much to Revolve PR for choosing me as a winner but also for the invitation to this fun and wonderful event. I am lucky to have this bracelet to remember me of a great event and I wouldn't be here without the support I get for my blog.
So here are a few snaps from the night and also a few short videos of the Engraving of my Love Bridhe Bracelet. For more information on this collection, please click here
Stay tuned for more chaos,
JB
