Jessicabanaghan: Selfie Girl Style: Tropical Scene

I have a big, kind of unhealthy, obsession with anything tropical. Anything that has fruit or palm tree's immediately has to be bought. Whether it be a t-shirt, a bag, or even a notebook, I just keep adding it to a never ending collection. It's funny really when I don't even eat much fruit. I suppose it's like I think by wearing fruit it is considered just like one of my "five-a-day".

The star of this look has to be my sequined tropical jeans. One of my favourite high street stores to buy comfortable jeans is Topshop. I spotted these online a week or two ago and I fell in love. It was like the designers of the jeans were thinking "do you know what? Jess would love these"- and were they right! As it says on the back of jeans- jackpot!When it comes to jeans, or bottoms in general, I tend to wear high-waisted styles. But as these are boyfriend style, I tried these on in store before buying them. What I like about Topshop jeans, is that you can pick out the right waist and length size to suit your body perfectly instead of the normal UK sizes.

For this look, I could of styled it with a crisp white shirt or even a plain white t-shirt. But, I spotted this tropical quote t-shirt recently in a Zara sale. I sadly can't see it online anymore, but I have linked similar t-shirts below.

Another outfit post, another pair of Reebok Runners. Yes, my gold metallic Reebok classics are pretty much glued to me. They seem to go with everything I have been wearing lately. If you don't own a pair of Reebok Classics, I would highly invest in them as they are so comfy and worth every cent.

To complete the look, I managed to rummage out a pair of pineapple print sunglasses I bought from Penneys/Primark a few years ago. I couldn't help adding just another bit of tropical-ness to this look. Again, I have linked similar glasses below.
