HB Ice Cream introduces Ireland First Ever Inflatable Pedestrian Bridge

Hi all!

So you probably saw my from social media, I got up to something pretty exciting last Thursday. It was a day off from my usual job, but it was another job that brought along a great experience and a brilliant team to work with. Here's my story!

So this experience wouldn't have been possible without my dear friend, Gary Gaughan. He is a dear friend who brightens up my Facebook newsfeed every morning with his enlightening status'. Any-who, I was complaining about the fact I wasn't a part of much events as I hoped to this Summer. Being down and having low self-esteem really took its toll. But Gary, brought along the opportunity to work for Propaganda Marketing and help them at an event for HB Ice Cream. Without a doubt, I said Yes! I was just going to spend my day in bed watching back to back episodes of Catfish the TV show(latest obsession), but I have 3 weeks left until I go back to college so I wanted to do something fun!

Now you want to know what the event was about? Well, we all know how commuting can be so boring and tiring for people everyday. So, HB Ice Cream wanted to put a smile on peoples faces and make commuting a bit more fun, hence the Inflatable bridge on the Grand Canal! And of course, we would be giving away Free HB Classic Ice Creams like Loop the Loops and Twisters. People had to post a selfie on the bridge to their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #HBGoodbyeSerious for their chance to get a free HB Ice Cream. This social media campaign was a success as I had many people come up to me, telling me they heard it on radio stations like Spin 1038 and they saw it trending on Twitter! It was great to see this campaign get so much media attention and people seemed so enthusiastic to be a part of.
