Hello Humans and Unicorns!
I think we are all wondering, where has our summer gone? It is already the 1st September! Its the ninth month of 2014 and I can't get my head around it. The year is just flying by us and we are getting older each day. For me, I'm not grasping onto much of the opportunities that come my way. But, I am trying to change and going to make the rest of this year count. I want to focus more on my studies and having a good social life too. I suppose, a lot of this year, I wanted to avoid everything and try and be an adult, doing things on my own. And its no fun. I want to enjoy my life and not to waste it away, because it is flying by. I am only 21 and i should be making the most of it. So don't let life get you down, realise you have family and friends there, if they stick around, it shows you are here on earth for a reason.
Back to happier things! I am so excited to be getting back to college, being reunited with friends and I am excited to succeed and grow this year. Everyone will tell me I have changed since i started college but i am going to show them I changed for the better. It's like that episode of Friends where chandler tries to give up smoking and he listens to the tape at night- I am a strong,confident woman who does not need to smoke :P
I hope to work on some events this year too, as well as attending them. I have my eyes on a few events I will definitely be attending this month!
My advice:
- Surround yourself with loved ones.
- Give it your all in college/school
- Work hard at your relationships in work,at home or with a partner
- Make a list of goals and keep to them!
- Get out of bed. Its the biggest struggle but its worth it.
- Conquer the world
