So yes, this is another award nomination post. Thank you very much to Melissa from Lipstick and Louboutins. I have been following Melissa and her adventures since last Summer and I am delighted she nominated me. If you don't follow her already, I would highly recommend checking her blog out. So, Melissa has set out questions for me to answer. So know you are going to learn a little more about me! I am always trying to think of questions and things to write about so this is something different for me! So here we go!
1. How did you choose your blog name?
Good question. I changed my blogs name last June from "The Untitled Story" to "Chaos wearing Lipgloss". I was thinking about a name change for a while because I wanted something different and that best describes me. I get a lot of my inspiration for my posts when I am driving- simply because I am not on my phone and I can think more. I had so many names to choose from but Chaos wearing Lipgloss was screaming to me because I am such a chaos in real life and yeah I wear lipsticks, lipbalms and glosses. But I used Lipgloss purposely for that fact that it has a ring to it!

2. Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog simply using it originally as an online diary. I only followed one or two blogs at the time, so being honest, I had no idea what I was doing. I sort of just set it up to write my thoughts up. Then months went by and I figured out how to blog from reading other bloggers. I am delighted I started this blog. I can share my thoughts freely and I hope it helps my readers in some way. I give my tips and I show you snippets of my very normal life and I hope you enjoy my posts and the ones to come!
3. Have you any tips for beginner bloggers?
Pfffft...
Hard question. I suppose know your audience and who you want to aim for. Blogging in Ireland is competitive so don't expect thosuands of likes and follows everyday. If you give it time and dedication then you will be rewarded for that. I did a blog post last year about my 10 Tips for Starting your own blog. Read it here
4. If you could only ever wear clothes from one store, what store would it be? (money is no problem)
Penneys/Primark! No question. I know everyone might pick River Island or Zara seeing as if money wasn't the problem. 99% of my wardrobe is Penneys and that is no lie! I love their quality and great pieces. I rush in there whenever I see new stock online in order for me to get my size. But that's the fun in it. Retailers want you rushing in and buy everything you can! I'm even wearing Penney's pj's as we speak and Penney's bobbins in my hair too! I could tell you all the Penney's items around me right now, but I could be here all day!
5. What is your all time favourite makeup brand?
I'm just after venturing in the beauty side of blogging in the past few months. I literally don't know anything about make-up compared to many other beauty bloggers out there. However, I am learning every day by looking at tutorials and what not. My make up brand of all time has to be MAC. This may seem like a cliche but it's the one brand that comes to mind. I am trying out new brands and brands that have been year for years to new products to love. I am not a hardcore MAC fan because I only have some of their products. I use a variety of different brands as I tend to go to a specific brand for a specific product e.g I mostly use Rimmel or Models Own Nail Polishes or I only wear Seventeen Dolled Up mascara. But, I am (as of 2015) open to trying more products and finding ones that suit me. So if you were to ask me this question in a few months, I might have a different answer.
6. What are your favourite perfumes?
Nicki Minaj. End of discussion! I have been wearing Nicki Minaj since she launched her first perfume back in 2012. I'm a Barb (huge Nicki fan) for so many years and since I first smelled it, I fell in love. I'm currently on my second or third bottle of the original Pink Friday and I bought more to stock me up for a few years. I also love Christina Aguilera, Guess and Ghost. Again, I am open to trying out more! If you have suggestions, tweet me or comment below!
7. What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Funny- I am told I am hilarious by people who know me. And sometimes I even laugh at my own jokes!
Chaotic- My blog is called Chaos wearing Lipgloss for a reason. I tend to bring unnecessary stress on myself and I am sort of messy. But, I am trying to improve.
Strong- I am a fighter and I believe in surrounding myself with positivity. I am getting stronger everyday and I try to wake up every morning knowing my worth in this crazy world.

8. What makeup product could you not live without?
Mascara. No Lippy. No definatley Mascara. I feel my eyes are so bald and naked without it! I have been using Seventeen's Dolled Up Mascara for a while now. I bought a fresh one a few weeks ago and it feels amazing. Always remember to change your mascara every 3 months!
9. If you could swap lives with any celebrity who would it be?
At the moment, I would have to say Victoria Beckham. I am a huge admirer of what she has achieved so far. She is a fantastic example of a strong female entreprenuer. And plus she is married to David Beckham and has gorgeous kids too!
10. What is the best makeup tip you have ever seen or been given?
Blend! Whether its blending your eyeshadow, or blending foundation onto your neck or any other sort of blending, it is so important! We don't want to see any lines except for wing liner!
