One to watch & love: Holly Shortall

Say Hi to Holly. She's pretty aswell as talented. God dammit!

Hello Pretty People!

So one of the biggest things to come out of 2014 was fashion illustrations, although it has been around for over 500 years. They are so many talented artists worldwide that I admire. And if you follow my Instagram you will see I love posting some of these illustrators work. 

So what is fashion illustration? It's the communication of fashion that originates with illustration, drawing and painting. It is usually commissioned by fashion magazines as part of an editorial feature or for the purpose of advertising for promoting fashion makers and fashion boutiques.

Any-who! Back to Holly! So Holly is only four years older than me, but she has acheived so much since starting out her dream of becoming a fashion illustrator. Since a young age, it was always her passion to pursue art as she her passion for art was passed down from her mother who is an established artist. It was back in 2013 where she saved up for her laptop, scanner and computer program to allow her create outstanding designs. 

So when did I come across Holly? Well Holly has been very lucky to be a well established on social media. She is always very active uploading her designs. `She first popped up last March when she illustrated  a picture of Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. I was instantly drawn in and in awe that someone could create this from a piece of paper and a pen. Since then I have followed her journey in becoming Ireland's well known Fashion Illustrator.

She has been noticed by Kelly Osbourne, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Zac Posen  just to name a few. She has done many collaborations with Ccosmopolitan.com and has been on many Irish TV shows and Irish Newspapers, talking about her success.
